The Plain-English Version
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 18, 2026
This explains what information Recruitable collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We have tried to write it in plain language for parents, in good faith. It is not legal advice, and it is not a substitute for a conversation with an attorney.
Who we are. Recruitable is a course operated by JShaw Creative Inc ("we," "us"), based in San Jose, California, under the AthletorIQ brand. You can reach us anytime at Athletorlive@gmail.com.
What we collect
Information you give us directly
- Your email address and first name when you sign up for a free tool, guide, or the course.
- The answers you enter into our quizzes and calculators. Depending on the tool, these answers can include information about your athlete (such as graduation year, GPA, or athletic background) and family financial details you choose to enter into the cost calculator. You enter this yourself, and you decide what to share.
Information we collect automatically
- A login cookie (a signed personal link token) that keeps you signed into the course so you do not need a password.
- Basic server and log data (such as your browser type and the pages you visit), collected by our hosting provider to keep the site running and secure.
- Analytics data about how you use the site (such as pages viewed and which tools you try), collected through Google Analytics using cookies, so we can understand what is helpful and improve Recruitable. This data is not used to identify you personally.
Information we collect when you buy
- Your email address and a record of your purchase (order, amount, and any promo code used).
- Your payment card details go directly to Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
Why we collect it
- To deliver the course and the free tools you ask for.
- To email you the resources, tips, and offers you signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To credit camp and coach partners when you came to us through one of them.
- To process payments, prevent fraud, and keep the site working.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run Recruitable. They only handle your information to provide their service to us:
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores purchase records.
- Mailchimp manages our email list and sends the emails you signed up for.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Resend sends your course access emails.
We do not sell your personal information.
About your athlete
Recruitable is built for parents and guardians who are 18 or older. Any information about an athlete is entered by you, the adult, not by the athlete. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information directly, email us at Athletorlive@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
- You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email.
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing Athletorlive@gmail.com.
California residents. Under California law (the CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request that we delete it, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email us at
Athletorlive@gmail.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
How long we keep it, and security
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward, or as needed to meet our legal and business obligations. We protect the site with HTTPS and use signed, personal login links instead of passwords. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Questions? Email Athletorlive@gmail.com.
